I just adore that doll (both the little girl and the little doll she is holding!) Great work.
Anna McConkey sent in this photo of her little tote knit with Lion Brand Homespun yarn, all one color. She used the Fleur Tote Pattern but without the fleur de lis design. With a different yarn and adjusting the pattern a little you can achieve a very different look.
Great job Anna!

Just in case you missed this!

Cheryl Wurtenburger knit this little doll for her daughter. I think it’s really a great idea. You can make many different dolls and stuffed animals with just some imagination and little time. Also, its such a great way to use up left over yarns.

New Vest from Dora Renee Wilkerson
Just wanted to share this vest from Dora. Is this the same vest that your daughter is wearing? Really cute. Check it out from the back.

Love the look of this vest top, I am just wondering if you have a free pattern for this particular top for the knitting board? Thank you in advance and very new to knitting all around. I do crochet alot, then asked Husband to buy me the 18″ knitting board and he did, love practicing on it. I am working on making something to wear and my 3 yr old daughter said to make her a top. Keep up the great web site.

Dora’s Warm Afghan

This is an extra thick and warm Afghan by Dora Renee Wilkerson. It was knit on an “S” Loom which means it was done with 2 loops over 2 – or double thick. Dora says ” If I was to do it all over again, I’d do it 1 over 1 and 2 feet longer. I do like it, and boy, it’s warm! It will be great for those cold nights.”
Yarn used was Pebbles yarn, about 53 skeins. It looks like a great pattern for the 28″ knitting board.
Now Dora is working on some camp shorts for her son. He’s in the photo on the sofa.
Thanks for sharing. Now we’ll have to wait to see the shorts.

Nice job!!! I’ve been working on mittens and slippers, but maybe I’ll be able to slip a bag in there soon. But when you have seven kids who all want new slippers and mittens….:-)
Nice!!
I am just wondering if the tote can be bigger….hmmmm and maybe a pretty felting to carry xtra stuff. I got the 28 Inch board so looks like I have a new project to try…..So many design possibilities!
