Dora says she is working on a ‘mrs santa hat’ to go with this one. I haven’t heard how she came up with this cute design, but the info will be coming. Lots of sharing of our Christmas ideas will really keep us all busy. This was posted last year, but it’s time to give some thought to the Holidays 2007.
This is a really cool afghan sent in by Sue Kreitzer - a super idea to make squares with left over yarn skeins. Use all different colors, types of yarn and stitch designs and create a very personal afghan. She used stockinette, zizag, criss cross, ribbing and open braid to create so many looks.
The finished size is 72″X 56″Â - makes a great bedcover.
Thank you Sue for the idea!

Claudia sent in a photo to share of her Danbury Coat. Great job! and what a beautiful location. Â

Anna McConkey sent in this photo of her little tote knit with Lion Brand Homespun yarn, all one color. She used the Fleur Tote Pattern  but without the fleur de lis design. With a different yarn and adjusting the pattern a little you can achieve a very different look.
Great job Anna!Â

Cheryl Wurtenburger knit this little doll for her daughter. I think it’s really a great idea. You can make many different dolls and stuffed animals with just some imagination and little time. Also, its such a great way to use up left over yarns.
